Our Musicians

Our musicians are professional, classically-trained players who have in the past performed regularly with Sinfonia 21 during its period of promoting orchestral concerts.

They are also people who have a great deal of experience in working in educational and community settings, both with S21 and with other enselbes and orchestras. They have experience working in:

  - schools

  - special schools and with disabled people

  - hospitals and hospital schools

  - older people's residential homes and day centres

  - centres for people with dementia.

They perform and lead a range of activities including:

  - one-off workshops

  - short concerts specially tailored to their audience, including musical plays with improvised and specially-composed music

  - longer creative projects with older or younger age-groups.
